GLOBAL WAR rlogin Game Server

Welcome to The X-League's dedicated Global War rlogin game server. Global War is one of the most popular BBS games of all time as it mimics the board game RISK. For more info on GW check out the gameplay on this YouTube video.

This server was created because I couldn't find any active games and it's too much fun not to play! Below you'll find how to install it (very easy) if you're a BBS Sysop, where to play if you're a BBS caller and current rankings.

README.1ST:

1. It's important I know what BBSes are connecting. So once you add Global War to your BBS please email xbit.bbs[at]protonmail.com your BBS name and address. If you don't:
1. I can't support you if you're having issues
   
2. You risk of your IP/Domain being blocked
3. I can't add you to the "Places to play Global War" ansi display
2. Support: use xbit.bbs[at]protonmail.com for all support questions
   

Synchronet:

1. 100% make sure you have the latest /sbbs/exec/rlogin.js. Download it here.
2. Start scfg.exe and create a new door: Global War - League 777
3. For the command line enter the following: ?rlogin x-bit.org:5130 -h -s[777] -q -t xtrn=GW777
4. Done! If errors occur, check step 1.

Mystic BBS:

1. Create a new game: Global War - League 777
2. Command line: /addr=x-bit.org /port=5130 /pass=@USER@ /user=@USER@ /term=xtrn=GW777 /PROMPT
3. Done!
